When I graduated from college, my mother took me to Biloxi Mississippi for a long weekend. We had so much fun, the room was very nice and clean, and we stayed up all night laughing and talking. We stayed at the Beau Rivage, a hotel/casino on the Biloxi strip. My mom and I got a lot closer on this trip, we had never spent this much free time together before. We met some folks that had taken a bus trip there. One night we all had dinner together at the Beau Rivage restaurant and took pictures, definitely a trip to remember.
My mother and I drove to Mississippi from our home state, since we had our own car we went mall shopping, it is always nice to visit the local shopping malls when you go out of town. I found some really good bargains also.
We ate at about 3 different buffets, breakfast, lunch, dinner and midnight steak and eggs. We did not see any live entertainment, there was no one there that we wanted to see live during our stay. I lost all of my money, and so did my mom, but it was well worth the fun. All the casinos have free drinks, and I was "tipsy" for the entire trip. So after we left, Hurricane Katrina came through and tore up a lot of the place, we have not been back since, but I am ready to go at a moment's notice. |
